I disagree vehemently with his extreme views on “Choice” and LGBTQI rights but as a lifelong “independent thinking” Republican I agree with the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia on gun issues. Scalia wrote for the majority in the landmark 2008 “Heller” decision that “dangerous weapons” can be prohibited even as the second amendment guarantees an individual’s right to own certain guns for lawful purposes like self-defense. Recent polls show that a majority of NRA members support comprehensive background checks!
I participated in a candidate’s forum on gun related issues— I hope you’ll watch this video for details on my positions and ideas:
Like so many other important issues today the extremists in both parties insist on proffering all or nothing ultimatums instead listening to the vast majority of Americans. As “The Inclusion Candidate®” in November and hopefully your next Congresswoman from New Jersey’s 4th district, I’ll work tirelessly to build coalitions for common sense solutions.
I’ve decided to skip the primary and instead run in the general election this fall as “The Inclusion Candidate.®”
It was so wonderful to have dear friends and supporters with me for this important announcement.
Issues that are important to me include term limits and tort reform but as “The Inclusion Candidate®” on the November ballot I’ll be able to focus on all the issues vital to the vast majority of voters in New Jersey’s 4th congressional district.
Voters in New Jersey’s 4th congressional district will have a choice for real representation and true transparency in November.
As “The Inclusion Candidate®” I will be "Your Voice in the People's House!"
The time has come, and the time is now so I’m making passage of a term limits
amendment to the constitution a cornerstone of my campaign for congress in New Jersey’s 4th District.
A constitutional amendment is absolutely necessary to insure fairness. States without term limits would have an unfair advantage over states that impose term limits because seniority plays a major role in determining committee assignments, chairmanships and leadership positions. Everyone elected to the House and Senate should be limited to a maximum of 24 years of combined service, be it 6 in the House and 18 in the Senate, twelve years each chamber or 18 in the House and 6 in the Senate.
Please share this post and video with everyone you know? I’m pledged to bringing real representation, true transparency from our 4th congressional district. I will be your voice in the “People’s House!”
Please consider donating $5, $10, $15 or $25.
I take the title of "Representative" very seriously!
"Real Representation, True Transparency, Your Voice in the People's House,"
is my verbal contract with all of you in our 4th Congressional District— not just some clever, crafty campaign slogan designed to convince you to vote for me that will be deliberately forgotten moments after all the ballots are counted November 6th. When you bestow the title "The Honorable Representative Dr. Felicia Stoler, Member of Congress" I consider myself bound by a sacred pledge to bring honesty, integrity and dedication to the hard work of representing you in Washington DC.
"True Transparency!"— I take the responsibility of keeping your sacred trust very seriously. As your Congresswoman from our 4th District I will make sure every vote is promptly and clearly explained on my House of Representative's web page. It's always frosted me how difficult, even, and, all too often impossible, to figure out just what a politician stands for on any given issue with statements designed to obfuscate and distract— those statements are written to deliberately mislead us! You won't ever scratch your head with disgust after reading my explanation for a vote or a policy position on an important issue.
"Your Voice in the People's House!"— I need your help! For quite some time now both political parties have turned our "U.S. House of Representatives" into a telemarketing juggernaut by requiring members to meet fundraising quota's! This turns my stomach! Our 4th congressional district is sandwiched between the largest and most expensive media market of New York City and the 4th largest, Philadelphia. Please consider donating $5, $10, $15 or $25 so I can "Just say no" when I’m asked to dial for dollars! This Fortune story published 2 years ago says it all:
With your help I will be "Your Voice in the People's House!"
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I loved Puttin' on the green and bingeing on Bagpipes last Sunday at Belmar's annual parade...
Our team of campaign "lepre-techauns" worked tirelessly to upgrade this website and integrate our YouTube Channel, Facebook and Twitter pages so you can easily share our multi-media content on your social media.
On days like today we take special pride in celebrating our diverse cultures and customs. So many immigrants still strive to make their way to our land of opportunity. It's this special American heritage of welcoming everyone that always has, still does and always will make these United States of America the greatest nation on earth.
I'm energized and anxious to meet everyone I can in our 4th congressional district in the coming days, weeks and month's of this campaign. I'm committed to reinvigorating representative government, which for the past several decades has been mired in "divide and conquer" political tribalism. Let's replace the un-American feelings of helplessness and hopelessness enabled and encouraged by too many of our narrow-minded elected officials with that uniquely and instinctively American "Can Do" spirit!
Thanks for stopping by,
I believe in citizen government. As Abraham Lincoln famously stated,
"a government of the people, by the people and for the people."
Ideally, our members of Congress would bring their skills and knowledge to DC in order to create policies, laws and help solve some our nation's most challenging issues like healthcare, education, employment, agriculture, the economy and national security to name a few. We can complain, or stand up and volunteer to be the change. Our leaders in Congress should have limited terms of service... and then go live by the laws they create. They should work - just like we all do - except outside of the halls of Congress. They should go back and live in communities they just represented.
My goal is to bring intelligence, energy, and enthusiasm to DC to represent the people in the 4th Congressional District of NJ. I am a mother, a healthcare professional, educator, and an entrepreneur. I grew up in the 4th district, raised my kids here, and support local businesses. It is time for repairing and rebranding the image of our elected officials. They should be working together for common sense solutions that are affordable, and inclusive.
It is time for fresh faces that are not part of the political "swamp". It is time for CD4 to have a Congresswoman. The status quo is simply not acceptable. Vote for Felicia Stoler in the June 5th Republican Primary in NJ and exercise your right for real change.
